Mr. Jarvis is the CEO and President of Caprock Risk Management. Mr. Jarvis founded Caprock in 2006 and what started out as a boutique consulting firm has now grown into a nationally recognized leader in the energy and commodities industry. Prior to Caprock, Mr. Jarvis was a senior energy and commodities strategist with Merrill Lynch following the acquisition of Advest in 2005. While at Advest, Mr. Jarvis was a Senior Publishing Analyst covering oilfield service stocks where he was ranked #1 by Bloomberg’s BARR analyst ranking system. Mr. Jarvis is a regular contributor to CNBC, Fox Business, Reuters, Bloomberg, The Street.com, and Dow Jones, among others.
He holds a BA from University of Massachusetts and an MBA from University of Connecticut. Christopher has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and he is a member of the CFA Institute. Lastly, Christopher has also earned the right to use the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation and is a member of Market Technicians Association (MTA).
